S-3.III:Separation versus Union

1. 1False healing heals the body in a part, but never as a whole. 2Its separate goals become quite clear in this, for it has not removed the curse of sin that lies on it. 3Therefore it still deceives. 4Nor is it made by one who understands the other is exactly like himself. 5For it is this that makes true healing possible. 6When false, there is some power that another has, not equally bestowed on both as one. 7Here is the separation shown. 8And here the meaning of true healing has been lost, and idols have arisen to obscure the unity that is the Son of God.

2. 1Healing-to-separate may seem to be a strange idea. 2And yet it can be said of any form of healing that is based on inequality of any kind. 3These forms may heal the body, and indeed are generally limited to this. 4Someone knows better, has been better trained, or is perhaps more talented and wise. 5Therefore, he can give healing to the one who stands beneath him in his patronage. 6The healing of the body can be done by this because, in dreams, equality cannot be permanent. 7The shifts and change are what the dream is made of. 8To be healed appears to be to find a wiser one who, by his arts and learning, will succeed.

3. 1Someone knows better; this the magic phrase by which the body seems to be the aim of healing as the world conceives of it. 2And to this wiser one another goes to profit by his learning and his skill; to find in him the remedy for pain. 3How can that be? 4True healing cannot come from inequality assumed and then accepted as the truth, and used to help restore the wounded and to calm the mind that suffers from the agony of doubt.

4. 1Is there a role for healing, then, that one can use to offer help for someone else? 2In arrogance the answer must be “no.” 3But in humility there is indeed a place for helpers. 4It is like the role that helps in prayer, and lets forgiveness be what it is meant to be. 5You do not make yourself the bearer of the special gift that brings the healing. 6You but recognize your oneness with the one who calls for help. 7For in this oneness is his separate sense dispelled, and it is this that made him sick. 8There is no point in giving remedy apart from where the source of sickness is, for never thus can it be truly healed.

5. 1Healers there are, for they are Sons of God who recognize their Source, and understand that all their Source creates is one with them. 2This is the remedy that brings relief which cannot fail. 3It will remain to bless for all eternity. 4It heals no part, but wholly and forever. 5Now the cause of every malady has been revealed exactly as it is. 6And in that place is written now the holy Word of God. 7Sickness and separation must be healed by love and union. 8Nothing else can heal as God established healing. 9Without Him there is no healing, for there is no love.

6. 1God’s Voice alone can tell you how to heal. 2Listen, and you will never fail to bring His kindly remedy to those He sends to you, to let Him heal them, and to bless all those who serve with Him in healing’s name. 3The body’s healing will occur because its cause has gone. 4And now without a cause, it cannot come again in different form. 5Nor will death any more be feared because it has been understood. 6There is no fear in one who has been truly healed, for love has entered now where idols used to stand, and fear has given way at last to God.

1. 假疗愈只是片面地医治身体，而不是全面的治愈。
它的别有企图在此一览无遗，因它根本无意解除那藏身于疾病下的罪之诅咒。
它显然存心鱼目混珠。
假疗愈的人不可能明白自己和别人无二无别。
唯有明白这一真相的人，才会获得真正的疗愈。
在假疗愈中，只有一方获得殊荣，并非双方平等一体地同享此恩。
分裂心境在此表露无遗。
真疗愈因而失落了存在的意义；偶像便会乘虚而入，遮蔽了上主之子一体生命的真相。
2. “分裂取向的疗愈”，这一观念听起来相当古怪。
然而，任何的治疗若含有一点“你我不同”的不平等心态，必然不出此列。
这类治疗也许治得好身体，一般说来，它的功能也仅限于此。
例如某人见多识广，受过较好的训练，或者比较聪明，天分较高。
因此，他能治疗另一个低他一等且有待保护的人。
即使是这种心态，仍有治愈身体的可能；因为我们的平等性在梦境中最多只是昙花一现。
梦境就是借着变化与无常而打造出来的。
他们指望的疗愈，不外乎找到一位聪明能干的人，靠他的专业技术而让自己如愿以偿罢了。
3. “某人比我聪明能干”，这句神奇的咒语便足以把世界的疗愈观念与治疗对象转向身体了。
另一人会由此人的知识与技术而受惠，由他那儿获得解除痛苦的药方。
这怎么可能！
它等于先假定两人之间的不平等，还得当作真理般地接受，再藉这不平等关系去帮助受害者恢复健康，安抚那饱受自我怀疑之苦的心灵；这怎么可能带给任何人真实的疗愈？
4. 那么，人们是否仍然可能透过疗愈工作来帮助其他人呢？
对傲慢的心灵，答案是：不能！
但对谦逊的心灵，则有此必要。
这就像我们先前提及的祈祷需要助手的道理一样，疗愈也能帮助宽恕发挥它本有的功能。
但你不可自封为传送疗愈这神圣礼物的使者。
你只不过认出了自己与求助者原是同一个生命而已。
他就是靠你这一体意识才能驱除自己心里的分裂意识，这才算是痛下针砭。
给人一帖与病因无关的药方，实在没有道理，因那不可能真正疗愈任何疾病的。
5. 疗愈工作者确实存在，他们就是已认清自己生命之源的上主之子，并且了解那“根源”所创造的万物与自己原是一个生命。
这才是帮人解脱的万灵丹。
它会带来永世长存的祝福。
这种疗愈不是片面的，而是全面且永恒的。
它揭露了所有疾病的真相。
就在这儿，上主写下了祂的圣言。
唯有爱与合一疗愈得了疾病与分裂。
也只有这种方式才符合上主的疗愈初衷。
若非上主，便无疗愈可言，因为那儿没有爱。
6. 唯有上主的天音能教你疗愈之道。
仔细聆听吧！你才能不负众望，将祂慈悲的药方带给所有送到你面前的人，使上主得以亲自疗愈他们，并祝福所有与祂一起献身于疗愈的人。
身体必会随之康复，因为病因已经解除了。
只要病因一除，它再也无法改头换面卷土重来了。
死亡在此慧见下也不再显得那么可怕。
真正已获疗愈的人是一无所惧的，因为爱已进入他的心中，取代了偶像的地位，恐惧终于向上主俯首称臣了。
1.假的療癒能治癒身體的一部分，而非其整體。
在這點上，它那分立的目標顯而易見，因它並未由它身上移除那罪的詛咒。
為此之故，它仍是在自欺欺人。
一旦了解他人和自己無二無別，就不會造出這種療癒。
因為這將使真正的療癒寸步難行。
療癒一旦變得虛假，就會有某些人擁有難以一體共享的力量。
分裂在此顯現。
真實療癒的意義在此喪失，而偶像則起而遮蔽了上主之子的一體性。
2.分裂性的療癒或許看似是個怪異的觀念。
但只要是基於任何型態的不平等，任何形式的療癒就都可被冠以「分裂性」三個字。
這些形式或可治癒身體，而它們確實大都侷限於此。
有些人更在行，受過更好的訓練，或許，還更有才華和智慧。
為此之故，他能把療癒施捨給在他之下受他庇蔭的那一位。
這種作法可以療癒身體，因為夢裡的平等性難於長久。
無常即是夢的本質。
若想療癒，好似你便得尋獲一智者，憑著他的妙手與學識，方可如願。
3.有人更在行；就是這幻術一般的咒語使得身體好似成了療癒的目標，一如世界所想。
而你必須拜訪這智者，才得以由他的學識和技藝中獲益，並由他身上尋獲治癒痛苦的藥方。
這怎麼可能？
你若假定不平等存在，並進一步把它當真，就不可能真的療癒，更遑論將其用於復原受傷的人和撫平在懷疑裡煎熬的心靈。
4.那麼，人們還能利用療癒來為他人提供幫助嗎？
傲慢之心必會給出否定的答案。
但謙遜之心則確實能為救助者保留他們的位置。
那就如同在祈禱中提供幫助的角色，能使寬恕成為它應有的模樣。
上天的特殊禮物能帶來療癒，但你並不把自己營造為攜帶禮物的那一位。
你僅僅是認清自己和那位求助的弟兄無二無別。
因為在此一體性中，他的分裂之感便得以消散，而這正是他的病根。
若不在病根所在處下藥，就一點兒意義也沒有，因為這麼做絕不能真正使它療癒。
5.療癒者確實存在，因為上主之子一旦認出自己的神聖源頭，並了解祂所創造的一切皆與自己一體不二，就能成為療癒者。
這一解藥能緩解徵候，且絕不致失敗。
它將在無盡的永恆中持續給出祝福。
它不會療癒部分，而是一勞永逸的治癒整體。
如今，一切沉痾的起因都已如實揭露。
如今，上主的聖言已出現在那兒。
愛與合一必將療癒疾病與分裂。
除了上主確立的療癒，再沒有什麼能發揮治癒之效。
沒有上主，就沒有愛，因而也沒有療癒。
6.只有上主之音能告訴你療癒之道。
聆聽吧，如此你方能一無閃失的把祂那仁慈的藥方加諸祂送到你這兒的弟兄，繼而讓祂來療癒他們，並祝福以療癒之名與祂一同做功的所有人。
身體將會療癒，因為病根已去。
而既無病根，疾病就無法以不同形式捲土重來。
死亡也不再受到恐懼，因為它已被理解。
大獲痊癒的心靈必能一無所懼，因為愛已進入並替代了偶像，而恐懼也終於讓位給了上主。
