M-4.X:Open-Mindedness

1. 1The centrality of open-mindedness, perhaps the last of the attributes the teacher of God acquires, is easily understood when its relation to forgiveness is recognized. 2Open-mindedness comes with lack of judgment. 3As judgment shuts the mind against God’s Teacher, so open-mindedness invites Him to come in. 4As condemnation judges the Son of God as evil, so open-mindedness permits him to be judged by the Voice for God on His behalf. 5As the projection of guilt upon him would send him to hell, so open-mindedness lets Christ’s image be extended to him. 6Only the open-minded can be at peace, for they alone see reason for it.

2. 1How do the open-minded forgive? 2They have let go all things that would prevent forgiveness. 3They have in truth abandoned the world, and let it be restored to them in newness and in joy so glorious they could never have conceived of such a change. 4Nothing is now as it was formerly. 5Nothing but sparkles now which seemed so dull and lifeless before. 6And above all are all things welcoming, for threat is gone. 7No clouds remain to hide the face of Christ. 8Now is the goal achieved. 9Forgiveness is the final goal of the curriculum. 10It paves the way for what goes far beyond all learning. 11The curriculum makes no effort to exceed its legitimate goal. 12Forgiveness is its single aim, at which all learning ultimately converges. 13It is indeed enough.

3. 1You may have noticed that the list of attributes of God’s teachers does not include things that are the Son of God’s inheritance. 2Terms like love, sinlessness, perfection, knowledge and eternal truth do not appear in this context. 3They would be most inappropriate here. 4What God has given is so far beyond our curriculum that learning but disappears in its presence. 5Yet while its presence is obscured, the focus properly belongs on the curriculum. 6It is the function of God’s teachers to bring true learning to the world. 7Properly speaking it is unlearning that they bring, for that is “true learning” in the world. 8It is given to the teachers of God to bring the glad tidings of complete forgiveness to the world. 9Blessed indeed are they, for they are the bringers of salvation.

开放的心是伴随不评判的修养而来的。
当你评判人时，等于向那位圣师封闭了自己的心灵；而开放的心则会向祂敞开欢迎之门。
定罪之心把上主之子判为邪恶的人；而开放的心则让上主的天音为上主之子辩护。
当你把罪咎投射到别人身上时，恨不得把他打入地狱；而开放的心则让基督的形相延伸到他身上。
只有开放的人才能享有平安，因为只有他们才会看到平安的真正理由。
2. 心灵开放的人如何宽恕？
他们得放下所有令自己难以宽恕的障碍。
他们已在真理内舍弃了世界，让世界以崭新的面目重现，它变得如此喜悦，如此光辉灿烂，完全超乎他们想象之外。
如今，世界已经脱胎换骨了。
以前看来死气沉沉的世界，如今闪闪发光。
尤有甚者，万物还会伸出欢迎之手，因为威胁已不复存在。
再也没有乌云遮住基督的圣容。
如今目标已经达成了。
宽恕即是本课程的最终目标。
它只是为那超越学习之境铺平道路。
本课程无意逞能，逾越它的本份。
它份内只有一个目标，就是宽恕；所有的学习最后都交汇于这一点上。
这已经绰绰有余了。
3. 你也许已经注意到了，上主之师的特质表中并没有列出上主之子的天赋本质。
例如爱、无罪、完美、真知以及永恒的真理等词都不曾出现于上下文中。
因为它们在此会显得格格不入。
出自上主恩赐的生命本质，远超乎本课程的范围之上，任何课程到它面前只有悄然遁形一途。
然而，当那些本质显得暧昧不明时，你最好专心学习这门课程。
上主教师的任务，便是把这“真正的学习”带到人间。
更正确地说，他们是在教人如何解除过去的学习经验，那才算是世上“真正的学习”之道。
上主的教师受命把这全面而彻底的宽恕喜讯带到人间。
他们真是有福之人，因为他们成了传递救恩的使者。
1.上主之師所習得的最後一項特質或許就是開放的心境，而你若能認清它的核心與寬恕有何關聯，就能輕易的了解它。
開放的心境會和不判斷同時出現。
判斷會關閉你的心，並阻擋上主的神聖導師，而開放的心境則會歡迎祂進來。
定罪會斷定上主之子是邪惡的，而開放的心境則會讓上主之音站在祂的角度來判斷聖子。
你投射給他的罪咎會把他送入地獄，而開放的心境則會讓基督的形像延伸到他那兒去。
只有開放的心靈才能平安，因為只有它才有平安的理由。
2.開放的心靈會怎麼寬恕？
它已放下了能夠阻擋寬恕的一切。
事實上，它已放棄了這個世界，令它得以煥然一新，且滿是喜樂的重回眼前，那是如此的光芒萬丈，它根本想像不到世界能有這種轉變。
如今，沒有什麼還和過去一樣。
如今，過往看似了無生趣的一切都在閃閃發亮。
最重要的是，一切都變得友好可親，因為威脅早已不在。
沒有任何一片雲足以遮擋基督的容顏。
如今，目標達成了。
寬恕便是這部課程的最終目標。
它是在為遠超一切學習的境界鋪路。
這部課程並不力圖超越自身的合理目標。
寬恕就是它的唯一目標，所有的學習最終都會在此匯聚。
那確實便已足夠。
3.你可能已經注意到了，此處列出的上主之師的特質並不包含聖子的天賦遺產。
諸如愛、無罪、完美、真知、和永恆真理一類的詞語並未出現在這段文字裏。
如果是這樣，就牛頭不對馬嘴。
上主的賜予已遠遠超出了這部課程的範疇，以致學習必會消失於它的臨在。
然而，它的臨在若隱而不顯，就應把重心放在這部課程上。
上主之師的任務就是要把真正的學習帶給世界。
正確的說，他們帶來的是反向學習，因為那才是世間的「真正學習」。
上主之師擁有它，是為了能把全然寬恕的福音帶給世界。
他們確實有福，因為他們帶來了救恩。
