T-6.III:The Relinquishment of Attack

1. 1As we have already emphasized, every idea begins in the mind of the thinker. 2Therefore, what extends from the mind is still in it, and from what it extends it knows itself. 3The word “knows” is correct here, because the Holy Spirit still holds knowledge safe in your mind through His impartial perception. 4By attacking nothing, He presents no barrier to the communication of God. 5Therefore, being is never threatened. 6Your Godlike mind can never be defiled. 7The ego never was and never will be part of it, but through the ego you can hear and teach and learn what is not true. 8You have taught yourself to believe that you are not what you are. 9You cannot teach what you have not learned, and what you teach you strengthen in yourself because you are sharing it. 10Every lesson you teach you are learning.

2. 1That is why you must teach only one lesson. 2If you are to be conflict-free yourself, you must learn only from the Holy Spirit and teach only by Him. 3You are only love, but when you deny this, you make what you are something you must learn to remember. 4I said before that the message of the crucifixion was, “Teach only love, for that is what you are.” 5This is the one lesson that is perfectly unified, because it is the only lesson that is one. 6Only by teaching it can you learn it. 7“As you teach so will you learn.” 8If that is true, and it is true indeed, do not forget that what you teach is teaching you. 9And what you project or extend you believe.

3. 1The only safety lies in extending the Holy Spirit, because as you see His gentleness in others your own mind perceives itself as totally harmless. 2Once it can accept this fully, it sees no need to protect itself. 3The protection of God then dawns upon it, assuring it that it is perfectly safe forever. 4The perfectly safe are wholly benign. 5They bless because they know that they are blessed. 6Without anxiety the mind is wholly kind, and because it extends beneficence it is beneficent. 7Safety is the complete relinquishment of attack. 8No compromise is possible in this. 9Teach attack in any form and you have learned it, and it will hurt you. 10Yet this learning is not immortal, and you can unlearn it by not teaching it.

4. 1Since you cannot not teach, your salvation lies in teaching the exact opposite of everything the ego believes. 2This is how you will learn the truth that will set you free, and will keep you free as others learn it of you. 3The only way to have peace is to teach peace. 4By teaching peace you must learn it yourself, because you cannot teach what you still dissociate. 5Only thus can you win back the knowledge that you threw away. 6An idea that you share you must have. 7It awakens in your mind through the conviction of teaching it. 8Everything you teach you are learning. 9Teach only love, and learn that love is yours and you are love.

1. 我们已经强调过，每个观念必然发自思想者的心中。
因此，由心灵延伸出去之物，其实仍存于心内；心灵不难由它延伸之物而知道自己的真相。
“知道”（know）一词，用在此处特别恰当，因为圣灵透过祂大公无私的知见，一直在为你的心灵护守着真知（knowledge）。
由于祂毫无攻击的企图，故与上主的交流畅通无阻。
为此，它也不受任何威胁。
你那肖似上主的心灵同样不会受到染污。
因为小我永远无法涉足其中，但你仍能透过小我而听、而教，且明白它的虚假不实。
你一直都在说服自己相信你并不是那个本来的你。
你无法教别人自己尚未学会的事；但不论你教什么，因着你的分享，都会强化你对它的信念。
你随时都在学习自己所教的每一个人生课题。
2. 为此之故，有待你去教的课题只有一个。
如果你想要让自己免于冲突，你只能向圣灵学习，并且只教祂的课程。
你就是爱；否认这一点，你已把自己的本来面目改造成一个你得随时提醒才会记得之物。
我已说过，十字架的讯息是“只教人爱，因为那是你的天性”。
这一课可说是极其完美一致，因为爱的课程是始终如一的。
你唯有教它，才可能学会。
这就是“你教什么，就会学到什么”的原则。
这话若是真的（我保证它真实无比），请留意，你所教的东西正在教你。
不论你投射（project）或推恩（extend）什么，你就会相信什么。
3. 你的唯一保障就是把圣灵推恩于人，因为当你在别人身上看到圣灵的温和善良时，你必会看出自己的心灵一样毫无伤人的倾向。
你的心灵一旦接受了这一事实，它就再也不觉得有自我保护的必要了。
上主的护佑便这样降临于它，确保它永远安全无虞。
安全无虞的人必然善良无比。
他们只会祝福，因为他们知道自己是有福之人。
人心若无焦虑在背后作祟，它必然极其仁慈，只会施人恩泽，故必也恩泽满被。
“安全感”的真义乃是彻底放下攻击。
这一道理毫无妥协的余地。
你若教人任何一种攻击形式，你就学到了这一本事而身受其害。
然而，这类本事不是永恒不变的，只要你不再继续教下去，便能解除过去学到的本事。
4. 既然你不可能什么都不教，那么，去教那些与小我相反的信念，你便得救了。
唯有如此，你才可能学到那一真相而获享自由；唯有别人从你身上学到那一信念，你才算保住了这一自由。
唯一获享平安的方法，便是教人平安之道。
只有在教人之际，你才敢确定自己真正学到了，因为你不可能教人由于自己切断了联系而一无所知之事。
唯有如此，你才能赢回自己一度抛弃的真知。
不论你与人分享什么观念，表示它必然已存于你内。
真知会因着你教人的那股信念而慢慢苏醒。
你在学习自己所教的一切。
只教人爱，你才会明白爱就在你内，你就是爱。
1.一如我們曾經強調過的，一切觀念均起始於思想者的心靈。
為此之故，延伸自心靈的便仍在心靈之內，而它延伸了什麼，便會據此了知自己。
「了知」乃是此處的正確用詞，因為聖靈仍藉著祂的公正感知把真知護守在你的心裏。
祂並不阻礙上主的交流，因為祂從不發動攻擊。
為此之故，存在絕不會受到威脅。
你那上主一般的心靈也絕不會受到污損。
小我自始至終都不是它的一部分，但你卻能藉由小我來聽見、教導、並學習非真之事。
你已教會自己相信你的真面目並不是你。
只要是你沒學過的，就無法教，而只要是你在教的，就會在你心中受到強化，因為你共享了它。
你所學的就是你在教的所有內容。
2.這就是為何你必須只教一種內容。
你若想擺脫衝突，就必須只和聖靈學習，並只藉著祂來教。
你就是愛，此外無他，但你若否定了這點，就必須經由學習才足以憶起自己的真面目。
我曾說過，十字架的訊息即是「只教導愛，因為那就是你的真面目。
」這一教學內容已然完美的整合為一，因為它是唯一堪稱一體的教學內容。
你必須教導它，才能學會它。
「你怎麼教，就怎麼學。
」如果這是真的——也的確如此——就別忘了你教導的一切正在教導你。
而你也會對自己投射或延伸的一切信以為真。
3.只有把聖靈向外延伸才足以保你安全，因為你若在他人心中見到祂的溫柔，你的心便會感知到一個全然無害的自己。
而它若可徹底接納這點，就見不到自我保護的需要。
於是，它便會了悟上主的庇護，而後者也會向它保證它永遠安全無虞。
安全無虞之人乃全然良善之人。
他們知道自己是有福的，所以也會送出祝福。
放下一切焦慮的心靈是無比仁慈的，而它既已延伸了良善，本身亦屬良善。
安全即是徹底放棄攻擊。
這點無可妥協。
只要你以任何形式教導了攻擊，就是在向它學習，而它也會傷害到你。
但如此的學習並非不朽，而你也可以藉著拒絕教導來反向學習。
4.既然你不能不教，你的救恩便有賴於教導與小我的一切信念背道而馳的內容。
你可以藉此得知真相，繼而獲得自由；別人一旦由你這兒得知真相，它亦可保你自由。
獲得平安的唯一途徑便是教導平安。
而一旦教導它，你就必能學會它，因為你無法教導自己仍在解離之物。
惟有如此，你才可贏回你所拋棄的真知。
你必會相信經你共享的觀念。
只要堅持教導，它就會在你心裏甦醒。
你正在學的便是你所教導的一切。
只教導愛，你便會明白自己就是愛，而愛也屬於自己。
